Clinical investigation
This practice has been selected to conduct a contact lens clinical trial and is recruiting volunteers. The study will be a yearlong investigation with nine (9) office visits. The study involves the new non-surgical procedure for vision correction, accelerated orthokeratology. Participants will be expected to wear specially designed ridged contact lenses while sleeping but not wear them during waking hours. Lenses will be made from a new highly oxygen permeable material. Volunteers should have -4.00 diopters of myopia or less and no more than -1.50 diopters of astigmatism.
